A group of women faced with an interminable war take matters into their own hands by refusing to have marital relations with their husbands until peace is achieved . In a new adaptation set during the American Civil War, the award-winning Two Planks and a Passion Theatre evokes the music and style of that era while remaining true to a timeless comedy that has provoked and entertained for almost 2500 years. Set in the beautiful outdoor landscape of the Ross Creek Centre and featuring some of the region’s most accomplished artists, Lysistrata is an experience not to be missed. |
